Hello may!
This time I would like to dedicate the blog to the hottest trend of “ puffy Sleeves. Puffy sleeves !!! Who doesn’t love them??. Every individual has their preference to puffy sleeves / gathered/ constructed/ downward or upward. No matter what they’re called, there are so many stunning sleeve designs , that sometimes even I , as someone who admires all kinds of puffy and different kinds of sleeves have a hard time to decide on a style of sleeve when creating a new design. There’s one important rule to pay attention to when you choose to wear a design with bigger sleeves with gathering / puff etc. So here I am with some tips to remember before you purchase any clothing with sleeves that are different then usual ..... If you are a small and petite, try to find a gathering or puff that has an upward affect. Meaning? I believe that you have already seen a shirt or dress that the sleeves are gathered or puffed on the shoulder line and then fall to the direction of your wrist. And when I say upwards I mean that any puff or gathering or any pattern of sleeve that drags the eye downward to your wrist , just the opposite! The gatherings on sleeves should be with upward stitching technique. The sleeve should stand not fall. And that’s how you would achieve a taller attractive look !!! Same applies to different shapes of bodies, each individual has a different style of sleeve, puffy or not that would look amazing for her body type. Another simple example, If you are pear shaped keep in mind that exaggerated sleeves will give you a much bigger / heavier look . If you are blessed with a bigger top, puffy sleeves will give you a bigger affect, and that’s something that I believe you should avoid. There are so many styles of sleeves available this season, and so many beautiful body types that g-d blessed us with. most important to remember is to look for the style and sleeve that compliments your body type the most. And I will repeat what I always believe in, if you are not sure that a style looks good on you. always seek the advice of someone that you trust their understanding in styling. I’m always here for you and am delighted to answer any styling questions you might have. Love Fruma
