This month is a super busy month in a variety of ways. Whether it’s preparing the kids for the new school year or having the new collection ready to launch for the coming season. Let’s not forget all the preparations for the upcoming Holidays! In short, there’s no shortage of things to accomplish. Now summer will be drawing to a close. We are starting to think about and plan ahead for the next season. In this months blog I wanted to continue our discussion about mixing and matching. I’m here to say… don’t be too quick to put away your summer wardrobe because this transition period is the perfect time to mix and match summer and winter items. A summery shirt with a winter skirt or vice versa. I love being creative in these pairings. Heeled sandals with socks is my favorite! A cotton shirt over a structured button down shirt. The options are endless. A small tip from me to help you mix and match successfully: if you see a picture or anything else that inspires you, be it color combinations or outfits save this inspiration. Use it for putting together looks from your own wardrobe. One more tip. When you’re not sure if something works together simply lay it out in front of you or go ahead and try it on in front of the mirror. Take a picture of each outfit you mixed and matched and it will be so much easier to look at the picture and see if it’s the right choice. Like I mentioned it’s a non-stop, action packed month and so I leave you here and I’m on to the next item on my to do list. See you next month!
